Neighborly
Love
Once upon a time, a girl named Pinyang was born. She was
the daughter of Pin and Yang. Pinyang was cute, lovely and kind. She always
smiled to others who would come in her way. She had one older sister and two
younger brothers. Her father would always send and fetch them in school.
Pinyang had the closest bond with her father. She
idolized her father being hardworking, patient and responsible head of the
family. He would spent Sundays with his family – celebrating the Holy
Eucharist, shopping or just having fun or bond as a family with their labrador,
Brad.
Unfortunately, at the age of twenty, after getting her
bachelor degree, her father died because of an unknown disease. She was
devastated because her most beloved father, whom she idolized, left them and to
think it was after her graduation. She didn’t have the eagerness to find work
because of what had happened. Hence, she just stayed at home, particularly in
her bedroom, doing nothing. Her siblings and mother were very worried about her
situation and they think of some things that would help her be motivated again
and there’s more to life per se.
One day, Pinyang was left home. Her sister went for work,
her brothers went to school, and her mom, after leaving her with food to eat,
went out to look for a job. Pinyang finally went out of her room. She
reminisced the times they had together with her father. Then suddenly, Brad
stormed out of the house. Instinctively, Pinyang ran to catch Brad.
Brad was the kind of dog, who was hated being touched by
random strangers. But to her surprised, a boy, around her age, was patting and
caressing Brad. The boy stunned as he saw Pinyang approaching them and their
eyes met half way. Pinyang got mad, and immediately got the leash and walked
away with Brad. But the boy chased her and said, “I’m Nick and I live next
door.”
Nick was a neighbor, who was a type of guy, who loved
pets especially dogs. He was an only child and he’s living alone next to
Pinyang’s house. That’s why he’s searching for friends at the new neighborhood.
Happiest moment of his life happened when he saw again
Pinyang, who was walking with Brad around the village. He ran to them with
excitement. He initiated the getting-to-know stage. Days passed by and they
became closer and closer.
Until Nick decided to confess his feelings to Pinyang and
she accepted it. Later on, they got married and had three lovely daughters and
they live happily ever after.
